The Lynx

Completed Shell (Price coming Soon)

The Lynx is a 20x30 timber frame pavilion defined by its expanded footprint and refined hammer bent design. The structure is engineered to deliver both visual impact and structural efficiency, using a rhythm of heavy timber posts, curved braces, and clean roof lines. Its open-span layout creates a flexible covered space suitable for gatherings, events, or integrated residential use. The hammer bent system allows for wider clearances while maintaining a balanced load path through the frame. Each timber is precision-cut and pre-fit, ensuring predictable assembly and tight joinery on site. The exposed frame is intended to remain a primary architectural feature, not concealed behind finishes. Proportions are set to feel substantial without becoming visually heavy, which is critical in open-air structures. The result is a pavilion that reads as both functional infrastructure and a permanent architectural element.

Design Intent

The Lynx is designed to elevate a simple covered structure into a focal point within a larger property or development. The hammer bent configuration introduces subtle curvature and complexity without compromising buildability or cost control. The goal is to achieve long spans and openness while maintaining the structural honesty of traditional timber framing. Visual weight is concentrated at key structural nodes, allowing the rest of the frame to feel lighter and more refined. The pavilion is meant to integrate into a range of settings—from rural estates to public-use spaces—while maintaining a consistent, high-end timber expression.

What else do I need in place for you to install this on my property?

A foundation needs to be ready. One option for this is a concrete pad. Or you can install concrete piles, or screw piles to place the beams in. If you want us to install this then request a quote.

If you have custom requests we can do that too.
